Cookie notice

Draft awaiting legal review. This text was prepared to give the page real content and a real structure. It has not been reviewed by counsel and must be before Aries Notes is sold.

The short version

Aries Notes uses the smallest number of cookies it can. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.

What the product sets

• Session cookies. Two of them, holding your sign-in. They are httpOnly, which means no script on

the page can read them, and they are removed when you sign out.

• Theme preference. Whether you chose the light or the dark appearance. This is stored in your

browser, not sent to us.

• Language. Not a cookie. The language is in the address of every page, so a link means the same thing

for everybody who opens it.

What we do not set

No advertising cookie. No cross-site tracking. No third-party analytics on the public pages.

Turning them off

The session cookies are what signing in consists of; refusing them means not being able to sign in. The theme preference can be cleared with your browser's site data at any time and nothing else will change.
